I am not above bribery

I learned a few things about my parenting since Thanksgiving.  Mostly that I am not above bribery.  When my child decided her diet could consist of only milk, we really weren't sure what to do.  Even worse, we both left town leaving her with my sister, with good luck, we hope you survive instructions.  I got home on Thursday and the house, the dogs, the Kid, and the Sister all still standing.  Hoping she would eat for someone else, not a complete fail.  But it's Sunday and I have resorted to scrambled eggs (well that was breakfast, yummy), McDonald's and the promise of suckers.  She is a sucker for a sucker.  So far so good.  Now if we could lower the milk consumption, we would probably be in good shape.

Moving on.....

I am losing faith in humanity, er Facebook friends.  Some of it's politics, some of its life choices, and some of its just plain old stupidity.  I have always joked that I keep some "friends" because they are train wrecks and I just can't look away.  Well the train wrecks are dominating my news feed.  I am either going to have to go on a hiding spree or a hiatus.  The sad part is there are truly some awesome people I like and want to keep up with, why can't Facebook decide that is the top news.

Restoring my faith, The Bloggess is working on her 2nd Christmas Miracle.  I have only recently started following her due to "Beyonce" (I will have a metal chicken B!), but had read about her Saving Christmas last year.  Very inspiring.

Happy December Peeps.

I contributed the Cotton Bowl train wreck, but I can officially assure you you don't have to hide me, I'm done wrecking ;)
